Every time I find a new interest in a vertical of some sort I realise it’s centred about art and just making stuff I think would be cool.
I’ve designed watches, produced and directed videos, marketed everything from sports to food, loving it all but never wanting to specialise
Think I’ve learnt to just embrace it all rather than feel guilty that im not seeing anything through to 100%
I’m okay with it being a 7/10 job skill wise but it gave me 100% fulfilment of what I wanted from it.
I wanna do everything.
I love the Adidas BW army shoe but the adidas logo being so obvious on the logo kills it for me
Wish it was just the old logo on the back heel to be more subtle
The biggest thing I’ve learnt building the personal brands of CEO’s and founders is that those days with 15% effort matter too
Enough 10’s,15’s,and 20’s and you’ve got a collective effort that stacks against what would’ve just been a straight 0.
On a serious note though padel has gotten out of hand
Why does nothing in my life matter anymore if I have a game???? 😭
In 5 years time I hope I’m:
Countless drops into my watch brand and working on this full time
Collabed with the brands I mess with the most. Everyone I like is important and bringing it together the right way is key
Bringing the streetwear world and watch world together
Finally shooting for the first drop of my watch brand this month
Only God knows how many obstacles I’ve had to pass through to finally put the puzzle together for this
I can’t wait for everyone to see this - the outcome of the drop isn’t even top of mind. This is art
If you’ve got an idea for something you genuinely believe in, please please please go act on it
Get feedback, research more, build a version on a small scale and test it
You hear this a lot but I’m seeing it more and more now - so many great ideas die to fear and laziness
My team have just sent me the final sample of the watch I’ve spent over a year working on 😭
IT IS COLD
Had a dinner last night with a team I’ve been working with for a short while in the agency world and got told a tonne of 💎
More inspired than ever to hit some of the more quantitative goals I’ve set out for the business now
Been consulting on a dope project over the past month for an agency that has won a big account in the UK F&B space, particularly within culture
You hear the concept of over delivering a lot in passing but came across it for the first time with Mas and co.
Super respectable
Imagine me and the boys, going to Dubai, driving some Lamborghinis, tell the chef to cook us some food, then chill at the rooftop, yakuzzi, and eat a chicken tikka masala.
Can you imagine the feeling bro?
