“What gets measured gets done.” An engaging and thought-provoking keynote at the @SAISnews #DEIInstitute from @Valaida. Thank you for supporting truthtellers (DEI professionals), illuminating the heart work, and inspiring real progress for all students - I am energized! 😊💗
Happy #InternationalPronounsDay❕ My pronouns are she/her/hers. Educators can foster and promote an inclusive classroom by taking small steps like sharing their pronouns. What are yours? ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 #gplearning #inclusiveclassrooms #DEIisaworkofheart #joinus
Even friends at home (and their fur brothers!) can celebrate #InternationalDotDay! #gplearning #JrKisreadytoplay #WeAreJrK
Kick-started ideas for the school year to come with @FableLearn's #CreativitySymposium! 👩💻 On our last day together, I connected with @peterhreynolds & learned more about what inspires him, won a copy of his Start with a Word journal 📒🤓 and discovered #mycreativetype 💭🌵🧩
Day 2 of #CreativitySymposium via @FableLearn - thinking up some great ideas with even better educators! 😌💭💡
Our favorite part of #JumpStart @GulliverPrep_? Swimming! 2 weeks down, 2 weeks to go! 🏊🏽♀️☀️ #togetheragain #SrKisreadytoplay
Yesterday’s PreK / JrK Art Show was a HIT 💥 These budding artists were over the moon to finally debut their works! #gplearning #WeAreJrK
I stand in solidarity with LGBTQ+ children and adults @GLSEN #DayofSilence ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
“Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.” Feels so special to be recognized and appreciated by students and families 🥰 Happy International Women’s Day! 🌸 #EmpoweredWomenEmpowerWomen
JrK has been focusing on important women in history, Malala being one of them. We read about her hope for the world, and were inspired with our own dreams for what could be... “One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.” 💭✏️✨🌎☮️ #WeAreJrK #gplearning
Thinking about my incredible experience at #NAISPoCC and the work that lies ahead.. but first, forever grateful for safe spaces like this one (virtual these days, but safe nonetheless!) 🤲🏾✨
Kindness counts! Our students are our future! Creating space for LOVE and PEACE for ALL in our classroom this week! 💗☮️👩🏼🤝👩🏻👩🏽🤝👨🏾👨🏼🤝👨🏽 #WeAreJrK #weareglobalcitizens #gplearning
Today was a hard day, tomorrow might be harder. From one teacher to another, I feel better having read this and I hope this helps you, too. 💖 tolerance.org/magazine/when-…
