This actual healing. I love these crazy kids let’s go for round 3.
Ben Affleck says Jennifer Lopez is a pioneer and she’s got a 4x degree of difficulty on what she’s done "To understand Jennifer Lopez is to understand somebody who really is a pioneer. Who did things when she was told they’re not possible" "Even when there were gates erected in front of her, she was able to use social media to demonstrate 'hey, there is an audience for me'" "She’s exposed to a degree of criticism in which there is an implicit, or at least subconscious, double standard...She’s always done it by saying even if nobody else believes in me, I’m going to bet on myself"

yes, major cultural events occurred that we couldn’t have possibly foreseen making the splash they did. but simultaneously, plenty of influential performances went on to inspire many with a lot of planning and production ensuring their hype and relevance: nirvana unplugged beatles ed sullivan debut queen live aid cash at folsom and many more… the live music industry has always been a machine and employs thousands of ppl who work tirelessly to make these events what they are. rarely do they go down in history purely by accident, man.
I've written about the Cameron Winter Carnegie Hall thing before and what i find most interesting is that, until recently, witnessing seminal cultural events was sort of a luck of circumstance. You didn't know that Dylan at Newport or the Royal Albert Hall would become what it was or Tupac at the House of Blues would be that moving or that the Daft Punk Alive tour was going to be something everyone talked about for the next two decades. But with this concert, everyone was sort of told "this is going to be history-making" before it even happened which turned it into this odd futures market that people paid thousands of dollars to buy into. For the first time you could ensure you were there at some culturally significant event. It's a bizarre new world out there, and I say this as someone who likes Geese and Cameron Winter and this concert recording!

Personally I find it incredibly romantic that someone can get their heart devastatingly broken and after mending it back together alone decides to place it in the palm of your hand. But what do I know
modern dating is just hoping you don't accidentally uncover how deeply they loved someone before you

I was deeply in love with my last girlfriend of several years ago and I am deeply in love with my now girlfriend who I hope to marry and get to love forever. life is winding & spectacular and I am so lucky to be able to have felt and received such immense love in my time
lame shit. you can love deeply and sincerely more than once in a lifetime, many of you are just too deeply insecure and shouldn’t be dating in the first place

Cutting people off for how they view you is actually incredibly valid. I have no dealings with people who view everything I say or do through a negative lens. That’s a huge waste of time

Grown adults at work don't seem to understand that treating someone poorly will result in them not wanting to talk to you anymore.

Sometimes a first a date is so bad that you don't kiss but also other times a first date is so good that you don't kiss because you're both too nervous to coordinate a situation romantic enough to do it
went on a first date so bad we didn’t even consider kissing. just two civil war generals signing a treaty in a barn
