Friends, it’s time to back up your twitter data and your social network even if you’re hoping to ride this out. Please leave some breadcrumbs as to where you’ve gone.
movetodon.org still works, but for how much longer?
So I’m I’m going to be over on mastodon at @_mcbride@infosec.exchange for the next little while, getting a feel for the fediverse while Twitter burns.
Still have not found everyone I want to stay connected to, please update your Twitter bio with your mastodon ID!

This captures the idea why you can't build very large systems over a week even a trivial one where you have domain expertise. It takes time to understand the failure patterns of your design. Scale and usage patterns are out of your control. danluu.com/sounds-easy/

The background is a battery meter & always display the relationship of the energy powering the website and the visitor traffic consuming it.
Brilliant☀️
Lunar eclipse from Sydney, managed to get the kids out with the telescope in our neighbourhood park and took a peek at the moons of Jupiter as well when the clouds were cooperating.
I do admit to adding a regex to filter out variants of twitter, tweeps and a number of other similar combinations this week, but this one was sufficiently indirect to get through.
Have not given up yet but I have staked a claim at @_mcbride@infosec.exchange on Mastodon.

I love how "take a deep breath" in Danish literally translates to "pull the weather all the way down to your butt" (træk vejret helt ned i numsen).
