No product is better positioned to deliver agentic, business-model-shifting AI than @SlackHQ 1. Create GPT w/ Slack actions + apps 2. Deploy as team member 3. @ them to run your business OpenAI’s launch of ChatGPT for Teams is the start of an unexpected, very welcome matchup.
Wild! With the new mention capability for GPTs, I can create an app with Grimoire, and seamlessly ask DesignerGPT to deploy it. No change in instructions needed – it's pure intelligence at work. ✨ You can deploy all your ideas for free, with just a mention of @ DesignerGPT.

Guys the internet is too good now. We need to slow down or face extinction by unhinged memes.

“Good morning Tucker.” “Do you wish me a good morning, or mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not? “Uh….I don’t” “Or perhaps you mean that you feel good this morning? Or are you simply stating that this is a morning to be good on?" “….”

The President recently ordered a change to the Unified Command Plan. This change shifts Greenland from the U.S. European Command area of responsibility to the U.S. Northern Command area of responsibility. Consistent with the President's intent and the Interim National Defense Strategic Guidance, this change will strengthen the Joint Force's ability to defend the U.S. homeland, contributing to a more robust defense of the western hemisphere and deepening relationships with Arctic allies and partners. As required by Congress, the Department of Defense reviews the UCP every two years and as needed to ensure that each combatant command is properly structured and has the right resources to carry out its assigned missions and protect U.S. interests around the world.

A couple reflections on the quantum computing breakthrough we just announced... Most of us grew up learning there are three main types of matter that matter: solid, liquid, and gas. Today, that changed. After a nearly 20 year pursuit, we’ve created an entirely new state of matter, unlocked by a new class of materials, topoconductors, that enable a fundamental leap in computing. It powers Majorana 1, the first quantum processing unit built on a topological core. We believe this breakthrough will allow us to create a truly meaningful quantum computer not in decades, as some have predicted, but in years. The qubits created with topoconductors are faster, more reliable, and smaller. They are 1/100th of a millimeter, meaning we now have a clear path to a million-qubit processor. Imagine a chip that can fit in the palm of your hand yet is capable of solving problems that even all the computers on Earth today combined could not! Sometimes researchers have to work on things for decades to make progress possible. It takes patience and persistence to have big impact in the world. And I am glad we get the opportunity to do just that at Microsoft. This is our focus: When productivity rises, economies grow faster, benefiting every sector and every corner of the globe. It’s not about hyping tech; it’s about building technology that truly serves the world.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Microsoft's supporting paper, published in Nature, does not support the claim that they have created a topological qubit. nature.com/articles/s4158… Peer reviewers of the Nature paper expressed concern that the paper misleadingly implies that a topological qubit was demonstrated or otherwise achieved: static-content.springer.com/esm/art%3A10.1…

A lot of the appeal of programming is that the computer is always right There is nobody to blame for problems except yourself All issues are skill issues — that clarity is nice

The best developers do not feel threatened by Devin Great filmmakers don’t feel threatened by Sora The best artists do not feel threatened by Midjourney The best musicians don’t feel threatened by Suno The best voice actors do not feel threatened by ElevenLabs I actually talked to people in every category. Some say it’s a nice toy, some say it’s useful, some say they are powered by it. Beginner musicians, artists, developers, etc also feel empowered - they can learn so much faster, their work will be so much different from what was possible 5 years ago. But people in the middle are fucked. Those who spent years to learn how to code, paint, write, film, or create music, but haven’t achieved much (for a variety of reasons) - their works are competing with AI head to head and if the reasons compromising their success stay valid, they won’t win this competition. Everyone now is in the race not to be mediocre.

americans will buy fast food and junk food because it’s cheap then spend hundreds of thousands of dollars once they get hospitalized for preventable illnesses make it make sense
This is a huge day for @X. My documentary, Cancer: A Food-Borne Illness, is finally here. It is only on this platform that I am able to release a film that challenges big food conglomerates and mainstream health claims without fear of censorship. Here is the story of how I, an 18 year old girl, spent 2 years relentlessly searching for the for the true cause of cancer. Here's what I found:

Andrew Huberman has been “outed” for having relationships with 5 different women at the same time. He’s a 48 years old man with the energy to date 5 different women. If that’s not a ringing endorsement of his methods, I don’t what is.
