the servers are expensive bc all the gossip I've heard about ao3 says it's a spaghetti-coded mess slapped together by volunteers and not professional programmers and that's why it's Incredibly inefficient lol

literally had a starring role in a Netflix show that ran 4 seasons and has had plenty of work after. as someone who has quite literally never had health insurance even when they were under 26, it's disgusting to watch someone in a great position in life e-beg for unneeded help.
