As @LindaMwananchi_ team, we forgive the disgraceful conduct by DIG Gilbert Masengeli and Lagat at Opicho’s funeral in Kitale today. We still got to speak to the people. I know many in public service are living in fear because we have a very petty regime in power. Being seen to “allow” opposition leaders too much leeway can end careers. My assurance is that in 10 months you will experience true freedom.

1/ There are currently 3.12 million children enrolled in ECDE centers today (out of 7 m eligible 😱 ). Protein deficit, especially amino acids, hits them hardest from a developmental perspective.
If that SGR to Western/Nyanza materializes I think we'll definitely see a boom in farming and produce from that region...

The National Bureau of Statistics reports that Kenya's economy grew by 5.1% in Q2 2026, compared to 4.9% in the same period in 2025.
· Agriculture grew by 3.5%, down from 4.0% in Q2 2025
· Manufacturing grew by 2.2%, up from 1.3% in Q2 2025
· Elec & water grew by 7.7%, up from 6.5% in Q2 2025
· Construction grew by 6.0%, down from 7.3% in Q2 2025
· Transportation & Storage grew by 4.4%, up from 3.3% in Q2 2025
· Hospitality grew by 7.4%, down from 12.8% in Q2 2025
· ICT grew by 7.2%, up from 5.9% in Q2 2025
· Financial & Insurance services grew by 6.1%, down from 7.1% in Q2 2025

I kept my passes from KQ flights 202 and 203 to and fro Mumbai on 15/16 October 2025. I couldn’t tell you what the toughest part of the day was, receiving the news in the morning or taking that flight to Mumbai. But I digress. I want to say Ahsante sana to some key people who made everything possible in very difficult circumstances.
1. The Indian High Commission in Nairobi and the Indian Government. I don’t know how many rules of international travel were bent to make that flight happen. Ahsante sana.
2. @KenyaAirways management and the flight crew led by Capt. Saviemaria Ondego. Absolute class. Bwana on the way back we thought our tears had dried then she hit us with that call change to RAO001 when we entered our airspace. Wacha tu. God bless.
3. The regular passengers on those two flights. Many were bumped off. Heavy seat changes to accommodate the delegation. Long delays especially on flight 202. Many had no idea what was happening until we were airbone and the captain made the announcement. Apologies for the inconveniences on that day, but you were very gracious. God bless.
4. The @kdfinfo . Bwana for the honor extended to Baba, we his people will forever be grateful. Salute🫡
