I’m really pissed off about what Abuja, the FCT, has turned into under this administration. Those so-called AMAC agberos (thugs) have gone beyond chasing commercial vehicles; they now stop private vehicle owners and demand their vehicle documents in the name of checking whether the vehicles are being used for company purposes. I experienced this embarrassment today. Despite the fact that my vehicle clearly has a private registration plate and private vehicle documents, these agberos still stopped me, claiming that some companies now use privately registered vehicles for business purposes. My question is simple: How can you determine that a company is using my vehicle for business purposes simply because it has private registration plates? My vehicle is privately registered, and its documents reflect that. This madness needs to stop! Abuja is the FCT, not a lawless territory where agberos can harass private vehicle owners without clear justification.
