ALT Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar clean artwork by Norimasa Matsushita used on the cover of the novelization published in Japan, in 1989. Image depicts a young bard in a white attire, with a leaf crown on his head while seating next to an armored warrior with a red cape and a sword stuck on the ground and a young woman with short blond hair, in dingy clothes, holding a staff. There's some vegetation on the right side. In the background, the figure of a bald man with long fingernails holding a staff with the form of a snake can be seen in tones of blue. The whole scene is inside an intricate blue frame with a yellow toned ankh sitting in the middle on the bottom.

ALT Black-and-white pen-and-ink illustration by E. H. Shepard of Winnie-the-Pooh sitting on a log and gazing upward beside a large tree. Behind him is a dark doorway at the tree’s base, with a sign reading “MR SANDERS” above it, a small bell, a hanging bell pull, and a partial note reading “RNIG ALSO.” A small pile of sticks lies on the ground to the right. Dense cross-hatching forms the tree.

ALT The artwork of Strider by Tatsumi Wada featured in Strider Hiryu Visual Chronicle artbook. It was originally published in Famicom Tsushin magazine to promote the manga. Image depicts Strider Hiryu in red, holding his cypher on his right hand while running from a bunch of blue ninjas with lots of explosions in the background, where some buildings can be seen further back, one of them crumbling to the ground with a fiery sky complementing the whole scene. Behind Hiryu, Matic which is a character exclusive to the manga and Famicom version, can be seen with sunglasses, spiky hair, and a scar on his left side that goes from the forehead to the cheek.
