First field trip in 3 years and ss loved every minute of it! From loading the buses, the bus ride, and each part of the program at Hidden Oaks Nature Center, it was an exciting experience! @oakhilles

Today ss @oakhilles listened to Mr. Xenos, a veteran, share his experience in the army. They even lined up for his autograph! 😊 Thank you to all veterans for your service!

Today we celebrated our personal narratives with gallery walks through each second grade class and left positive post-its. Ss loved giving out the positives but were so excited to read what others had written for them! @oakhilles

It was a beautiful day for a fall scavenger hunt! Second grade fall switch day @oakhilles.

How cool to learn about why our monarchs hadn’t flown away yet. We return to check on them and found this one shivering to warm it’s wings before taking flight. It was an amazing experience! @oakhilles
