Bama fanbase has a really difficult time separating emotions from reality. We were coming off a brutal, emotional game against UGA. We’re down a starting center & team captain WR. We’re taking a first year starting QB on the road to one of the toughest environments in football to play against a nasty defense with an elite DL. And we had dudes predicting 30+ points and double digit wins. Just pure, unadulterated delusion.

I don’t know who or what needs to change but that wasn’t the brand of ball that we’ve all grown accustomed to seeing coming out of Tuscaloosa. I can take losing to UGA in a hard fought game. But this today wasn’t Alabama football. And I know week to week it’s hard but we still gotta give ourselves a chance to be successful. We did not by no means today.
