Humbled to be nominated, proud to be a finalist! #WeAreEastRen Learning Achievement of the Year Award 2024
Feeling 'Future Ready' after spending the day with @WeareXMA @mconlon68 @digilearnpkc @HarrietBenbow at their digital learning event in Perth. Learned loads about how to best use iPads in conjunction with M365, and was inspired by the great work happening in PKC schools 💻🌟✅
A wholesome day of networking and learning with @anu07m @FionaLawUK @texthelp @FionaAS and the @GoogleForEdu team in Edinburgh. Always great to catch up with colleagues in other LAs and discuss the latest digital hot topics! Oh, and the mariachi band were estupendo!
Discussing digital literacy as a golden thread through the curriculum with @kirstymcfaul and her team, learning about how @HPUK can help our schools, a lovely lunch at HP HQ and an afternoon with the @Schools_Digital team - not a bad Thursday! Thanks to all for a great day 🌟💻✅
A week on and I'm still buzzing after my visit to @CCJacademy and @LEOacademies for their Digital Discovery Day. Brilliant pupils and staff sharing their experience. Best thing? Seeing the pupils in their classrooms immersed in tech. Thanks to @MrsShirley8 and the team ❤️
More travels today to @stcolrector St Columba's in Kilmacolm to attend their AI conference. Lots of thought-provoking discussion and hands-on playing too! Thanks for the hospitality and to @AmandaFoxSTEM @AIwithAileen @Gemma_clark14 @lessonup @jneale for brilliant demos!
Great evening @jpmorgan Glasgow HQ with @stacshq cheering on @Mari_Clare and Ben while learning about Mearns Masters... And hearing from @AJOBPickard and @LauraKeeney01 and their thoughts on AI 🌟😍🌟

Tuesday has started rather well with a surprise package from @RoboticalLtd celebrating another year of being part of the #MartyMasters crew! The kids will love the stickers, and I'll love the tablet 😄 thank you! 🤖🤖🤖🤖
Fantastic day of learning in Dundee @DundeeSciCentre with the @AppleEDU crew! And super to catch up with @gems_sand @jimmclean1 @pammcdowall 💻✅🥰 A good opportunity to think about the impact of devices in classrooms and how that might be measured 🌟
So proud of all of our schools sharing all the great digital work they do with others - I really do love my job! ✅❤️💻

Thanks so much to @_jonathanhull for visiting P4A, P4B, P4/5, P5A, P5B, P6A, P6B and P6C to show the children the accessibility features of the Chromebooks and iPads. We can't wait to try some of these out to support our Literacy!

An honour to be asked to present to East Renfrewshire head teachers about #AI in Education at their annual seminar. Lots of discussion around effective prompting, creativity, ethical considerations and excellent tools such as @curipodofficial @magicschoolai @GetSchoolAI 🌟
It's not every day you get to spend time with a CEO and show them first hand the great work our schools are doing every day. Great to meet you, Matt! @Seesaw 😃🌟✅
