To avoid falling into this psychological blind spot, a parent should do the following: - Before reacting, ask yourself, “Is this about my child or my childhood?" - Delay emotional decisions. Respond later, not instantly. - Write down three things your child actually needs (discipline, patience, effort) and stick to them daily. Your child is not your younger self.
