I started play Destiny 2 back in May and have put nearly 650 hours in since then. Destiny has quickly become my favorite gaming IP and I would LOVE the chance to experience a D1 remaster with the rest of community.
Hi, my name is Blu. I love Destiny with all my heart and I’m not a larper, and I think alot of you are selfish plz read. :)
To all you today :) telling me how lame and unimportant Destiny 1 was: I literally played through the WHOLE game on fresh accounts in May with my OG fireteam. So I think I have a pretty good idea how important and amazing a Destiny Classic would be for the WHOLE gaming community.
We are trying to get Destiny to people OUTSIDE of our community, so every single one of you needs to stop being selfish pricks. MILLIONS of people have never played Destiny...
Y’all have actually upset me, ’cause I have fought for all of us since May and so many of you commenting just don’t get the bigger picture.
THE DESTINY COMMUNITY NEEDS TO GROW WITH NEW LIGHTS!!!!!! Genuinely so disappointed in a lot of you. Do better.

If destiny 1 got remastered with a fresh start for everyone with modern performance and QoL features like crossplay, mantle, and being able to open menus in loading screens alongside a staggered expedited DLC release schedule so we can re-experience every era i would be so happy

A new adventure is coming.

I’m as excited as anyone for more Destiny, however what I really care about is that is handled with as much care and respect as possible for the Community, Developers and Story. I see it as a Field of Dreams scenario of “if you build it, we will come.”
Just some closing week thoughts for you all
The biggest thing is, thank you. Your response to our comms this week has injected our team with so much energy and hope, please know that
The next is, I know there are a lot of questions on the how, what, when of unvaulting. Including any potential future updates to D2 and what’s beyond for Destiny
There’s going to be a very intentional process for all of it that will take time. But over the next few weeks (targeting prior to the end of October) we’ll talk about what our first step is going to look like with more clarity
But instead of a traditional ‘roadmap’ comms I’d rather talk about it through the lens of a progress bar. Bring you all closer, more consistently to our dev milestones. And just be transparent about any challenges we run into and show you the proof of work along the way that unlocks further understanding
That way when we share a release date we’re all on the same page and have the right expectations that leads directly into how we'll further celebrate Destiny's legacy and vision for the future
So, talk more soon. Keep your eyes up.
GUARDIANS MAKE THEIR OWN FATE!!!!
Today, we’re sharing more about the future of Bungie, including our plans for Destiny, Marathon, and how we’re changing the way we work.

I’ve spent the last couple of nights playing RuneScape: Dragonwilds and I’m having a blast. 2 things I’ve realized are:
1. It’s super nice to take a break from high intensity shooters
2. I’m a sucker for nostalgia
If you like Survival RPGs I’d definitely check it out!
It absolutely crazy to watch game publishers destroy the gaming industry in the name of “data.” Feels like nobody really cares what their communities actually want and continue to make terrible decisions.

I don’t expect Destiny news at the State of Play, but I do expect the Destiny community to show up. Calling all guardians!!!

A lot of people are getting caught up on the "Chaos Story continued" thing... that's honestly the least important part of this whole post.
Chaos Story was great, but it was mostly great because of the aesthetic and atmosphere that Greek Mythology brought to it.
I don't need the exact same characters or storyline, but I just think it would make more sense to work off what they already built up instead of starting from scratch (also would be awesome to see the BO4 Chaos Maps brought back with different mechanics)
I understand people don't trust Treyarch to write it well, but if you have no faith in their writing team, then wouldn't you feel equally as uninterested in a new story? If their writing for Chaos would be bad, it would probably be bad with a new story too.
I have faith though. I know there's talented writers at Treyarch, and I know they can do better. Their next game is roughly 2 years away, I trust them.
But if they want to do something new from scratch, that would be fine too! Just want something as crazy and unique as the aesthetics that Greek Mythology could bring.
I care way more about the gameplay mechanics anyways.
Hey Treyarch, I have a billion dollar idea for your next Zombies mode in 2028...
• Chaos Story continued.
• All 4 BO4 Chaos Maps Remastered.
• 5 New Chaos Maps continuing the story.
• Maps set in Library of Alexandria, Atlantis, the Underworld, Medusa's Lair, and Egyptian Pyramids.
• Classic Mechanics with some newer elements...
• Classic Point System (with some changes)
• No Armor & No Damage Scaling (bring back Shields)
• No Loadouts & No Rarities.
• No Salvage, No Crafting Benches, & No Arsenal Stations.
• Perk Upgrades in-game (or if Augments return, find a more interesting way for players to earn them)
• No Field Upgrades (bring back Map-Unique Specialist Weapons)
• Map-Unique Challenge Trial Systems (mechanically unique & thematically unique)
• Unique HUD that is SIMPLISTIC (No Mini-Map, No Health Bars, No Score Feed in the middle of the screen)
• Huge focus on Map-Unique content instead of content that is thrown on every map.
• Every Map should be FILLED with unique things to do, whether it's little features to mess around with, Side Quests, a complex Main Quest, etc.
• Keep Directed Mode and a Casual Mode that allows for Loadouts but limits the player in other areas, so camo grinders can still have a way to guarantee a weapon to use for grinding (unique Wall Buys for each map, including DLC guns, could fix this issue anyways)
• Lots of Game Modes like Grief, Gun Game, Gauntlet, and maybe even a PvP experience like the BO3 Zombie Blood Rush Mod.
• No separate "Cursed Mode" but the Relic concept of BO7 should return with new Relics for each map that can make your game harder, but give you more rewards.
• Offline Support NEEDS to return with Private Matches.. and NO MORE PAUSE TIMER!
• Save & Quit should return, but needs to limit the amount of bugs associated with it.
My favorite part about the ZombieZone Livestream is the interviews and “humanization” of all the different devs ranging across the entire Zombies Mode. Congrats on a stellar stream @evanf1997_ @cbgray_
Hopefully this final hunt crosses over the COD NEXT livestream. I’d be interested to see the numbers and compare some of the bigger hunters not at NEXT to the NEXT streams

My first Hot Take for COD Zombies 2028…
You can’t do an Easter Egg unless you play as a main storyline character.
You can play as operators as you please, but you’ll be restricted from doing the Easter Egg.
