I agree with this 100%. Black producers played such a huge role in shaping the sound of mainstream pop music. Quincy Jones, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Babyface, Teddy Riley, Timbaland, Missy Elliott, Darkchild, Pharrell, Danja, Dallas Austin, Jermaine Dupri, Tricky Stewart, The-Dream, and so many others.
