Been gone so long all 12.3k followers probably have me in a digital cage somewhere. Sorry to dip out. This app turned into a place that became so unbearable with the change of ownership. I couldn't take the racism, queerphobia, and misogyny every other tweet.

Please check this out! I beg of you! Queer stories don't only come in one color.
This will be a thread of art about queer moc without the typical white male queer character inserted into the story. It will focus on feature length films, series, shorts, & comics. I will add upcoming projects & add on things I watched as days go by. Be it big or small.

This conversation about some kids having bigoted opinions as a child and some never having bigoted opinions as a child because they were raised right is so triggering as I see someone I used to know from school engaging in this conversation as morally superior while I remember...

That kid's parents got him out of that situation but what if he didn't have those kind of parents? What if he stayed and kept dealing with your bullshit and ended up offing himself? You only think you're morally superior because you don't believe your actions caused real harm.

And while I believe that racism and homophobia aren't the same, they are both forms of bigotry. And to watch you tweet over and over about how someone else is rightfully being dragged for a racist past and how you never did anything like that... I'm like 2 seconds from snapping!

That part! All the things we want to see as Black people exist in the indie space and these indie filmmakers are begging for our support. Indie Black queer filmmakers are putting in that work!
i know we have spoken about this a million times but i will continue to talk about how strange it is that we haven’t gotten a mainstream black queer movie since moonlight which was released 10 years ago…

When yall make racism a quintessential part of a white teen’s coming of age, you also make it quintessential to black teen’s coming of age. “Omg she was only 15 when she said nigger”, yeah and black kids will only be 15 when they’re called that.

It's really this simple
Replying to @the_sad_trinity
i think bigots have the ability to unlearn bigotry without getting forgiveness from every single person they ever called a slur. i am happy these people changed, it’s for the better of society as a whole, and my quiet unwillingness to forgive them should not hinder their change

The “he’s a grown man” argument is ridiculous. Being an adult doesn’t mean you suddenly have a medical degree. That’s literally why medical professionals exist. Jalen’s responsibility is to play football. Their responsibility is to determine whether he’s medically cleared to do so.
Yes but also Jalen is a grown man. He needed to advocate for himself as well.

I feel like folks are sooo close to getting what's happening. They'll be right there and then make a hard left on the corner right before the destination. It has to be willful ignorance atp.
Caleb McLaughlin needs a better team and agency. You mean to tell me he’s signed to WME one of the biggest talent agencies. They have RDJ and he’s getting nothing? No invites for young Hollywood ect. His management must suck as well.Millie and Sadie are with WME and they’re booked

Mahershala Ali is wonderful in Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother, but I also wanna shout out Adia, who does an amazing job holding her own against Ali and selling both the low-key moments of being a teen and the heavier moment in the second half.

Welp..get ready for even more of this.. the Industry has very few jobs for actors of color and they are not green lighting diversity shows as much.. this administration has intimidated Hollywood
Actors of color were largely shut out of the #Emmys this year. The only performers of color to win an on-air or voice Emmy in 2026 did so at the Creative Arts ceremony. Ernest Harden Jr. won guest actor in a drama for “The Pitt” and Octavia Spencer won for narrating “Lost Women of Alaska.” variety.com/2026/tv/news/emm…

Reading this and then coming on this app to see people of color arguing with other people of color about the possibility of an actor of color being cast in a project starring people of color... I need y'all to GROW THE FUCK UP! IMMEDIATELY, if not, SOONER! Shit real out here!
After a couple years of major progress, creators of color are seeing “real regression,” the president of the TV Academy tells THR. When #Emmyssowhite began trending after white actors swept the lead and supporting acting categories during the Sept. 14 ceremony, it unearthed a reality deeper than the demand for equal acclaim: Actors of color can’t win accolades for roles that don’t exist. “The Emmys ultimately reflect the work that makes it to our screens, and this year’s results are another reminder that progress is not linear,” Television Academy chair Cris Abrego says in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “We have seen meaningful gains in representation across our industry, but we have also seen real regression, and we cannot take progress for granted.” hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-…

People of color fighting each other on the timeline about the 23% of roles they are allowed to have. Meanwhile Hollywood going about their business continuing to have white people hold 77% of all roles knowing no one will ever dare say shit to them because they are too scared to

People hate-watch so much and then wonder why the shows they heard were "soo good!" that they were going to "wait for all episodes to release so they can binge it" are being canceled left and right
