Perth has been a peaceful change of pace for me lately. Life here is slower and quieter compared to elsewhere, which is what I've been needing. I'm sticking around for a while, despite occasionally moaning about the scorching 40-degree heatwave they've been having...☀️

I've been laying low the last few months. Focusing on enjoying my surroundings, the people I'm with and taking my foot off the gas a little. It's been lovely. But because of this I've now developed Twitter stage fright 🙈 It's time to get back to it!!

It may be a new year, but I've gone back to one of my favourite coworking spots in Bali. Biliq is a space for focused work. The indoor/outdoor area keeps me on track and inspired, which I haven't been feeling a lot of recently. Plus, great food and dogs - perfect 👌

Happy Friday! It's been a BUSY week. What do you do when you're feeling a bit overwhelmed? I close my laptop and go and get a bit of fresh air. It helps me put everything into perspective, have a breather and start again.

Had an incredible experience this Sunday at Bukit Elephant Park in Phuket! 🐘 A gorgeous day, watching the most beautiful animals. The park is a sanctuary for female elephants who've endured injury and abuse in the past. The dedication of the park and its elephant keepers is insane! The sanctuary really cares for the elephants. No fences, no chains, just vast land for the elephants to roam freely. Each elephant has its own dedicated keeper (who is there to keep an eye out in case they escape!) and the daily visitor count is limited to ensure a calm environment. We had the privilege to watch the elephants, offer them bananas (with minimal touching). The guides are extremely knowledgable and they teach you about the history of elephants, the work they do and their plans for the future. The park operates solely on donations. You can't wash or ride the elephants here. Protection is priority. Our guide had worked at the sanctuary for 20 years and loved seeing the elephants finally happy. It was an experience I'm never going to forget. It's important to do your research before visiting parks and sanctuaries. Make sure the place's principles align with your morals!
