Something I’ve noticed with photographers, myself included, we often don’t treat our works as art worth sharing more than once. It’s this strange thing where we actively participate in the commodification of the images we produce and consume. 1/3
It is extremely easy to fall into the desire to instantly share images one has captured/created speeding past those you have proudly shared the day before. The algorithmic way in which we interact with the process of sharing and expressing ourselves heavily lends to this. 2/3
I’m not exactly sure what my point/conclusion is & this is by no means a criticism of anyone besides myself. In my pursuit to be more self-expressive/intentional in sharing art I feel a desire to share my thoughts and hopefully start dialogue with my peers/mutuals. 3/3
I’m gonna be so stressful for my wife when we have a kid. The way I get so worried about the cat when he has an allergic reaction, I’m gonna be freaking out when my kid gets sick 😭
