And, to be honest, if we’re so concerned about just plowing through content, where is the mental health of teachers + students? You can’t cover 100% of the content in 50% of the time with 25% of the human interaction.

I’m trying to make this move in my classroom. Turned off final marks, hiding overall percentage, formative assessment is 0% which is everything until the end of a unit or grading period. Excited to have grading conferences with students to asses learning. blogs.edweek.org/edweek/find…
