Nobody likes you when you're depressed. We can talk all day about mental health and its importance, but the moment you fall into a depression; everyone starts to pull away. They see you as someone negative, a burden, a person too heavy to deal with.
maybe men shouldn’t be pilots

when I was in high school, some weirdo in my gym class, that I never even spoke to, told random people we had sex.. rather than getting upset and denying it, I played along and told everybody he has a small penis and called me ‘mommy’
at 14 I was watching other people’s kids overnight, let’s blame the mom for everything and not the dad who can’t take care of his fucking kids. this is the stupidest story I’ve ever heard.
Everyone seems to be misunderstanding the story about the mom arrested for leaving her 4 kids home while she went to Vegas.
>It was a work trip, not a vacation
>Babysitter came every morning to get kids ready for school
>The babysitter checked on them again after school
>The kids were 14, 12, 11 and 9
>She was coming home in 5 days
>Kids father charged with hitting the mother
>Florida has no law setting an age kids can be home alone
...call me crazy, but when I was a kid this would have been NO PROBLEM AT ALL.
I'm on the mother's side here, all charges should be dropped.

Being passively suicidal is so fucked up. You don't plan on ending your life, but you're so exhausted by being alive that the thought of not existing anymore feels more comforting than anything else. You keep going, but deep down, you're tired of it all.
‘alliterate’ is the biggest self-own in the world
no idea who this is btw

The more I find out about him, the less I like him. He's a fine actor (who learned how to screw over women from his former co-star turned superhero) but it doesn't sit right with me when a longtime couple who has kids together don't get married. He and this alliterate actress were together for a really long time and never got married even though they had kids. And now, he's with this woman. Granted- he's been with her for what 6-8 years now? And he's marrying her. First "wife" pays the dues, the second one reaps the rewards
And our alliterate actress got engaged to that guy she's with almost immediately, then he got hurt. But they haven't gotten married either. So... I don't know, people are f**ked up.
we really are doomed by the younger generation, and it’s not even totally their fault. they’re not taught how to read cursive or analog clocks and it’s just sad.
Angelina Jolie left a handwritten thank you note for hotel staff while filming ‘Maria’ in Greece, and the internet is struggling to figure out what it says.
The note has resurfaced and racked up millions of views, with people trying to decipher every word.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The images appear to be AI-upscaled or altered versions of the original note shared by the hotel. The note reads: "Thank you for a restful stay at your beautiful resort. The “Maria” cast had a lovely time here. With love, Angelina Jolie."

The Shane Gillis thing is real simple:
Men saying women in shorts are "whores" is literally the first step on the journey to men typing "free pussy" in the group chat.
It ain't hard to figure out. You are fucking dense if you don't see it. We can evolve now. Thanks.

She tries to grab the guy, and the one filming laughs and says “it’s assault.”
Aight. These boys are so irony-poisoned they can’t even see straight. That girl is steaming mad for very good reason, and he thinks it’s a joke.
Dunno who they’ll listen to, but somebody has to convince these Gen Z boys that the manosphere has cooked their brains, or more of them are going to ruin their own lives with their utter lack of empathy for women. Over and over again, young dudes are only going to realize that some things aren’t fucking funny when they get their asses handed to them, and they’re going to spend decades trying to undo the damage they did to others + to their own reputations when they were boneheaded, edgy teenagers. The reality checks they’re gonna get are going to be harsh, and earning forgiveness for grave errors is a lot harder than not fucking up that badly in the first place.
inb4 boneheaded comments about how I can’t take a joke — rape is not a joke. Assault is not a joke.
Running after a rapist to turn him over to authorities is not “assault,” it’s what any good person would do. An instinctive, reflexive reaction like this is a clear sign that your moral compass is pointed south. This whole generation needs to do some soul-searching before they spend their adolescence & early adulthood traumatizing themselves and each other, or they’ll spend their whole adult lives miserable, regretting how badly they’d lost their way when they were young.
Replying to @Amy_Siskind
Here is the hero Mia. A group of losers actually filmed her chasing the rapist down because they thought it was funny.
I once saw somebody say that if men didn’t need to wipe their ass, public bathrooms would not have free toilet paper, and they were so right.
Gilmore Girls is one of the only shows where every single character is an awful person, with no redemption arc. They just all stay being their horrible selves for 7 seasons and a 4 part special.

parents are so fucking entitled, neither your nor your child’s life is more important because you decided to have kids. this is why gen z all think they’re the main character of the universe, and the next generation will be much worse.

Teaching women to soften their rejection because a man might react badly is rape culture.

People will literally be mad at you for being right about them. They’ll argue with your tone, your timing, your wording, anything except the part where you clocked the pattern exactly.
