Hello Remx Fam, I’ve been getting a lot of DMs asking about what's next with @remx_xyz and what @_duelsapp is all about—so I wanted to speak directly to you, our community. 1. Are we still working on Remx? What is Duels? Yes, 100%. In fact, Duels was born directly from feedback we received from Remx artists—many of you asked for a secondary market to earn more from your existing content. But after thinking deeply about it, we realized something important: launching a secondary market isn’t building anything new. It likely wouldn't bring in new demand or new capital into the artist ecosystem. So we asked ourselves another question: How can we unlock new value from the art already on Remx—and share that value directly with our community of artists? The result: @_duelsapp, a mini app built on @farcaster_xyz. It’s been live for over a week. We’re already seeing daily onchain activity and transactions in $USDC —and most importantly, artists who opted in are earning passive income without doing any extra work... How it works: Two pieces of Remx art face off in a 24-hour Duel. Users bet USDC on which will win. 90% of the pot goes to the winning bettors. The remaining 10% is split between the featured artists and Duels. A more profitable and more effective strategy to receive ongoing royalties from your work. Why this is better than a secondary market: Because it brings new money into the creator ecosystem. People aren’t just collecting—they’re playing, engaging, and discovering art in a fun, competitive format. And every time your content is voted on, you get paid. Also, your content will benefit from distribution across the @farcaster_xyz ecosystem, where mini apps are a key focus. And soon, the new @CoinbaseWallet will integrate Farcaster and feature mini apps like Duels to millions of their users—amplifying your reach even further. We’re not here to rehash what’s already been done.
