The Rwanda plan won’t end small boat crossings. Expensive deals with France won’t stop people smugglers. Neither will keep refugees safe. There is a kinder, safer and more effective option. Watch & share this video #SafePassage @pcs_union bit.ly/3g50HZY

🔜 We will move to a committee system for decision-making from May 2024. 🗣️ It will ensure elected members representing all corners of the district have access to and influence over democratic decisions. ℹ️ Find out more about it here ➡️ bit.ly/3prK5Aa

Brilliant mathematician Alan Turing was an excellent runner. He sometimes ran from Bletchley Park to London for meetings, a distance of about 64 km, and showed up in his running suit. His best marathon time came close to that of Olympic athletes of his day turing.org.uk/book/update/pa…

When I signed up for Boston, I couldn’t even run. I couldn’t fathom slamming down hills- an IT band’s nightmare. I did in faith I could get ready in time & to learn the course for the future. So glad I didn’t miss this. It’s always worth showing up to find out 📷:@fast_women

Well... I've been saying this for decades :) Running doesn't cause arthritis... please stop telling runners to stop running to save their knees. nbcnews.com/health/health-ne…

What running does to the knees, according to a large survey of marathon runners

Many doctors see osteoarthritis as a “wear-and-tear” condition, but a large survey among long-distance runners found no increased knee or hip risks.
