The new @Tesla Roadster with the Thrust Augment puts out more thrust than an F-16 fighter jet at military thrust.
• Roadster: >80 kN (~18,000 lbf)
• F-16 military thrust: ~79 kN (17,800 lbf)
(Military thrust is the maximum thrust a jet engine produces without using the afterburner)
"but but but what's the practical application for this?!?"
Supercars and hypercars are toys for rich adults. This is the most "hyper" car ever. It'll outperform F1 cars on tracks, even tho the endurance won't be that high.
Tesla already makes the most practical cars. They're among the most reliable, safe, easy to use, cheap to operate while also having great performance and good handling for its class.
World's 1st 3D printer is a woman
They can 3D print a humanoid robot that can run AGI locally
Tech hasn't caught up yet
Mechanical engineering is the final boss for AI
Which is pretty unfortunate as a self employed person who does a lot of CAD for my work
I'm reading a lot of retarded takes on this topic.
I'll make 1 post and be done with the topic, just because I want WiFi in flights.
> Starlink beams can be turned on or off at specific regions. This is well demonstrated at the Ukraine-Russia border, where only Starlinks in Ukraine has access to the internet. Forensics clearly confirmed this.
> Access to internet is only a "national security threat" for oppressive dictatorships like Iran, where they killed 30k protestors. Freedom of speech and information is fundamental to democracy. When RG shouted "vote chori", we openly discussed and debunked it, that's how democracy works.
> Turn off the beams in sensitive areas if it's really a security problem, let the rest of us have reliable internet and WiFi in flights.

No country can have a "sovereign" Starlink alternative to just serve its own people. Here is why:
LEO isn't geostationary. LEO satellites overfly the whole planet. You need customers all over the world to have a hope of turning a profit. You need 1000s of satellites to have continuous coverage. It'll be prohibitively expensive to only serve 1 country. It'll be far outcompeted by broadband and 5G.
"What if they serve internationally?" You can't compete with the company that owns the rocket with >10X cheaper price/kg over anyone. This moat is only getting stronger as Starship comes online.
Another moat is the 1st mover advantage. LEO real estate is limited. As Starship can launch a lot more satellites and as Starlink mobile starts rolling out, this moat is also strengthening. The subscription cost will drop as the scale increases.
Even Amazon LEO and China will find it extremely difficult to compete with Starlink.

Designing a robot from scratch is just plain hard.
Mechanical engineering, electronics, power, controls, software, AI and you some how have to put it all together in a way that also looks cool.
"Induction = gay"
"Tesla = gay"
I don't understand this caveman logic.
What seems gay and cucked to me is relying on a 3rd party and a fragile supply chain to get the fuel needed to operate such essential equipments.
Producing your own energy is manly and based AF.
I made a lung simulator machine to keep an air quality sensor inside
This can accurately measure the quality of the inhaled air. Air is inhaled and exhaled through the nose.
This is for validating a product we’re developing.
I now understand why Elon hates stealth fighters like the F35 and promotes drones instead.
He has the tech to defeat stealth.
