if you’ve been paying attention to the Papertrade launch, i have a little something to share with you. Papertrade will be fun. you can already see people deploying different strategies around the system. for some, the best way to play this game is by joining a collective effort like @paperdao_xyz. then there’s @paperstrategy_ by @eth_elian. i’ve been following both and will probably participate in both. my thesis here is simple: most people don’t know how to maximize their $PAPER mint. so the best approach for them might be to buy a token built on top of it and gain exposure to the value created by a DAO deploying different strategies. if you’re trying to play this short term, you might burn out quickly. it’s a long game, and you have to play it based on the state of the protocol. at this stage, being early matters if you want a bigger upside. hearing things that buying this collection gives you GTD access to the PaperDAO presale, so i’ve just swept 10 while the floor is still relatively cheap. it was under $3. the current floor is around $15, and there are still 5 days left until the Papertrade launch. my approach is simple: the cost of buying these NFTs is the cost of gaining upside exposure to Papertrade or PaperDAO. just like with any token built on top of another token with underlying value, there’s usually a shift in attention from the underlying asset to the layered token because there’s perceived money to be made. especially when $PAPER itself won’t be tradeable yet. you just have to sit with this long enough to figure out the right approach for gaining upside exposure. you can either make money from the PaperDAO presale if $pulp appreciates, or hold the token and gain exposure to the value created by the strategies it deploys on Papertrade.
