#bbccricket the big question now is whether England can avoid an innings defeat? In recent times when backs are to the wall the England batting disappears in a hail of terrible shots so I’m not optimistic…
#BBCFootball Signing Asensio and Rashford are a coup for Villa but it will mean little if we don’t bring a couple of defenders in. We have one fit CB and one fit RB with two younger squad players going out on loan today. Unless the plan is to score 5 if the opposition score 4.
As the season draws to a close - big shout out to the #bbccricket live text team. Every match they’ve been there and have been a constant open tab for me all summer. Informative and witty - they should get more credit than they do. Will miss this until next April
Here we go again. Winterbourne View, Whorlton Hall… nothing has changed so this still happens. And it will continue to until there is fundamental change in the system. Children mocked and held in headlocks by staff at special needs school bbc.com/news/articles/cp6643…

Amazing Ashes series for both men and women. Every match has been compelling and so tight - swung between both sides - could only have been better if England had won rather than drawn! #BBCCricket
Wasn’t Twitter supposed to be changing? Still looks the same to me? Or do I need to refresh it or something? Or have I missed something? Still tweeting, still got the bird…

These plans will utterly bar disabled individuals from accessing the rail network. They are unjust, discriminatory, and shockingly appalling. We must vehemently oppose them with unwavering determination!

Not looking for portents or anything, but when Stokes beat the Aussies at Headingley, I missed it as I took my kids to the park. I’m heading out to the park with my kids a little later this afternoon… #BBCCricket
A riled-up Stokes and Broad? This is going to be one hell of an afternoon session. Stokes has that look about him we’ve seen before at Headingley 2019 and WC Final. He couldn’t do it again, could he? #BBCCricket
