this is like showing up to the jiujitsu gym full of purple/brown belts with a white belt with one stripe after saying you've been practicing for years
Aside from stating the obvious, it's legitimately heartbreaking seeing this since so many of my friends in this community (some that have been here way before I joined in 2021) have been waiting for this moment to come only for it to be cancelled.
It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the cancellation of the Umamusume: Pretty Derby – 7th EVENT: THE STAGE in LOS ANGELES concerts planned for Oct 22–23, 2026.
Although we have coordinated repeatedly with all parties concerned and explored every possible option in our efforts to make this event happen, we were unable to obtain the necessary visas for entry into the US, so we have come to the painful conclusion that holding the concerts is no longer possible.
To all the Trainers who were eagerly looking forward to the show, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concern this causes, and for announcing this so close to the event date.
Due to this cancellation, we will process refunds for the following:
・On-site viewing tickets
・Streaming tickets
In addition, we are looking into possible responses to Trainers who were planning to attend the concert in person. This will take some time, so we ask for your patience. Details will be announced on the 7th EVENT WORLD TOUR official website.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this causes to all the Trainers who were eagerly looking forward to the concerts, as well as to the Umamusume cast, partner company staff, and everyone involved who put tremendous effort into making this event happen.

not even a day after and now people are sucking up to a major trump donor and is creating autonomous weaponry for the US military lmao
Deleting this later, just been bottling up my feelings for the past week over this and needed to let it out some way
I dont have a strong opinion on whether geldings should be allowed in the Arc or not, but it should be noted that the Kentucky Derby has allowed geldings since it's inception, and the last gelding to win was in 2009 with Mine That Bird at 50-1 odds.
Protect the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.
One of the world’s most prestigious races, the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe has a unique place in the international racing and breeding industry.
A petition has been launched opposing proposals to open the race to geldings, seeking to preserve its tradition, prestige and importance to the future of thoroughbred breeding.
We encourage everyone involved in the racing and breeding industry to make their voice heard and sign the petition.

One of the craziest parts about Sunday Silence being introduced to the Japanese bloodstock was that his impact was so significant that multiple G1 winning, triple crown winning bloodlines were almost completely snuffed out. His offsprings far exceeded anything Japan had prior.
Top 9 anime that shaped who I am:
Some shows here are not my all-time favorites, but more what shaped my taste in media and my personal interest in the last 10+ years of watching anime
It's been a journey since starting out with the Angel Beats English dub back in 2012
I would argue Britain is still strong in the industry, with British indie devs being some of the best. Project Zomboid, Prison Architect, No Man's Sky and Kenshi were developed by British studios/devs.
