I wanted to be a good artist. Create things that moved people. but Im getting burnt out and starting to love it less because of a lot of circumstances.
I need to go back to school next year. Unfortunately, I'm not reaching a lot of people with my art so I'll be stopping as soon as i find something else that brings in money. Drawing kept me alive for almost 3 years, but its dying.
I'll prob only draw for my friends after that.
Got ghosted 3 times for the past months after sending sketches to different clients.
Never reply or update anymore but are still active in their social. They probably don't know how hard and how long it took me to build structure and find a lot of references and even sometimes use a 3d model for a specific pose/scene. It's the literal backbone of the entire piece. Sometimes takes more time than rendering itself.
I'll definitely ask for payment upfront from now on. It's just sad:((
