Wow! On Sunday I received one of the best emails of my life - I've been accepted into the Microsoft MVP program for the first time ever!
I've always admired other MVPs, and to achieve it now for doing what I love doing every day, and a huge honour.

This is going to be a game changer for onboarding projects. An order of magnitude easier to do than the alternative approaches
#dotnet #aspire
This is pretty cool. Can now pop up custom UI in the #dotnetaspire dashboard to have devs enter keys or other configuration.

Coming in 9.4! #dotnet #aspire
I was very excited and humbled to wake up to this email this morning, my second year as a Microsoft MVP 💙

I'm diving into @svelte face first - so far I like how simple it is, perfect for my current project.
But I have to admit, this mixture of syntax is jarring for me.... a combination of #, : and / just for an if/else statement.
Let the awesome day at #ADAConf begin!!
First up is Sonya Natanzon, providing a keynote about architectural decisions.
Copilot Workspace feels like cheating... totally cheating... I'm a fraud!
And I totally love it!

@LottieFiles Hey Lottie, looks like your player JS has been compromised! Can you take a look at give us an updates as to resolution? We've had to turn off all Lottie players on our site for now.

My plan for today is to stay in bed, binge some TV shows, sleep, avoid infinite scrolls, and generally attempt to recover from the long-term fatigue I've been feeling.
I've started with a scroll through Twitter.
This is not going well... 🤔
I am also a little torn, as the new season for #diablo3 starts today, and the rest of my family will be having fun with that

Hey everyone! We have 2 exciting talks on Wed 6th Nov at the Arinco Melbourne office.
We have @DMCAsAService - GitHub Models for fast prototyping!
And @DaniWeerasinghe about mastering Azure Bicep!
Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Have to say, the queue hall is decidedly boring and disappointing this year, which is particularly surprising for the 20th birthday.
And the new layout is dumb - only a small percentage get to even see anything, and no speakers up the "back"
#paxaus2024 @PAXAus
4 cosplays pretty much all done and ready for @PAXAus!
Me: gothic steampunk
Nat: Fallout vault dweller
Kai: Jujutsu Kaisen character
Nerys: Raft character
Bring on the weekend 🥳

👇 This is likely the shortest way for me to explain what is mocking and why you should be mocking in your tests.
Replying to @kettanaito @ThePrimeagen
TL;DR Each mock is an invisible line in your test that says "nothing past that line matters". It is up to you to figure out where and why to draw that line.
For example, one must always draw that line for network requests in integration tests. Because something like an external server mustn't affect the results of your tests in any way.
Here we are grasping at something tangible, at last. Mocking is your level that controls what affects the test results and what doesn't—because that, in turn, controls what the test is about.
