for many eddie stans, loving eddie NEVER has depended on buddie. we don't base our love on the possibility of buddie becoming canon, we want better writing and opportunities for him!!! he is my priority. i believe 100% if he is prioritized, the writing of the show will be better.

the fault of 9-1-1 lies in its showrunner, its writing, and the often Ignorant and Unnuanced fandom it has. the faults of this fandom are so fucking obvious and people KNOW this. specifically for eddie, i've seen many eddie stans get jumped in s7/s8 for voicing out their issues.

it's all about writing choices. this is not real life. they choose to write things and they choose to write it a certain way. things don't just magically happen, they make them happen. see: eddie being stabbed in an elevator just because they didn't know what to do with him in.
