Hard to believe she was surviving out there all alone In the heat of Thailand. Little Polly is still shook up but she will have a bright future now ❤️

He probably had the right name in the end. Lucky is what he was. A lovely life of retirement now for Mr Lucky with endless love and his own house to call home. Can confirm he is a very good boy ❤️ (6/6)

I fed lovely little Bob on the streets for 3 years in Thailand. Never in my wildest dreams did I think he would end up on a private jet 🤷‍♂️😂 (1/6)

A good end to the week for Bruno. He didn’t know it at the time but that car hitting him is probably the best thing that ever happened to him 🙏

You can see him looking around in wonder today with his big sore leg wondering where he is today. It might not seem like it now but that whack from a car might be the best thing that ever happened to Bruno

My dog has accidentally learned a piece of logic that is slowly destroying my peace. A few months ago, he had an ear infection and hated the ear drops, so every time I finished giving them to him, I’d loudly say "ALL DONE!" and immediately hand him a piece of sharp cheddar cheese. He made the connection. "All done" = cheese. The problem is that I didn't realize how often I use the phrase "all done" in regular adult conversation. I ended a phone call with my bank the other day with "Okay, looks like we’re all done here, thank you," and hung up, only to look down and see my 70-pound golden retriever sitting at attention, shaking with anticipation, expecting dairy. Now I can’t finish folding laundry, I can’t finish vacuuming, I can’t wrap up a Zoom meeting without this dog teleporting into the room and staring into my soul with an intensity that implies I have signed a legally binding dairy contract. I owe this animal four pounds of cheddar by next Tuesday.

The good news is you can see him back up walking 10 days later. He is still very ginger on his feet. Mr Big will hopefully continue to improve. He’s a very very good boy (5/5)

Little Hope was one of the very first dogs we ever rescued. We found her with a nail gun shot into her and some very severe injuries from clear animal abuse. She got over her physical injuries quite quickly but it was her mental scars that took several months to build back up and, luckily, once I did that, she found the most wonderful home in England with her gorgeous mom, Steff. Some dogs do remember you but not all do. As soon as I saw Hope during my crazy 120 km run, I think she recognized me and started playing around, although I didn't have a huge amount of time to spend with her. With about 110 km done, my body gave up and I collapsed and the medic refused to let me go any further. What I couldn't believe was that even though there were lots of people around, Hope burst through and ran over and comforted me. Now I could be being romantic about the situation and overthinking it but I also think that she knew that I was in trouble, just like she had been in trouble one day when our paths last met. You really do have to love dogs. There's nothing quite like them .

Spending the weekend supporting mum and her new puppies. I think she is absolutely delighted to now have support and not to have to do it all alone. I called her Katie Taylor for the weekend that’s in it… (1/4) 🧵

I never get bored of seeing Chance so happy. I called her Chance as I hoped as an older girl she might get a 2nd Chance at life after being cruelly stabbed in the stomach. She loves her name ❤️
