🚨🇮🇳U.S. TOURIST ARRESTED AFTER ILLEGAL TRIP TO SENTINELESE ISLAND WITH CAN OF COKE An American tourist has been arrested in India after sneaking onto North Sentinel Island—a restricted tribal reserve—and leaving a can of Coca-Cola and a coconut as “offerings” to the Sentinelese, one of the world’s most isolated tribes. Mykhailo Viktorovych Polyakov, 24, sailed 25 miles on a makeshift boat, landed briefly on the island, filmed it on a GoPro, and fled—putting an entire uncontacted people at risk of disease and death. Experts slammed the stunt as “reckless and idiotic,” warning that common germs like measles or flu could wipe out the entire tribe, which has zero immunity. The Sentinelese have violently rejected all contact for decades. Polyakov violated India’s strict no-contact laws—put in place precisely to prevent this type of dangerous intrusion. He remains in custody, and his GoPro and boat have been seized. Authorities are now investigating his movements across the region. Source: Daily Mail
