Lol exactly. Y'all really want me to wax lyrical - I can and I will. Salaye salaye but evidence dey. "It's not that deep". People don't only start conversations about extremely deep things. Most of you get upset with me cos I'm not afraid to say what I feel. Even when it's about me. That's on you. Starting a 'compliment' with "I'm not a fan of Simi's voice on her singles..." has already spoilt it - but I don't care about that. I didn't respond to that. It's dumb to expect everyone to like my singing. Sometimes I don't like my singing fam. I responded to her separating "my voice" on my songs to my voice on features (songs I sing with men - BECAUSE 98% of my features are with men.) y'all don't even know my female features. For the comparisons with whatever other artist - I don't even have that many features. Majority of my projects have maybe 2/3 features. I be jumping on a few songs and about 90% of those are hits. There's a reason why. You don't like how that makes you feel. It sounds farfetched. But it's been my life for years now. You can deny it, but it won't matter. I am Simi. I do not go harder on my features. Matter of fact, If I write a verse that is too hard, I might keep it for myself. Still, I kill. If you're always thinking I'm fighting, you'll never understand me. Again, that's on you. If you're not a fan or friend, you're crazy to think I never acknowledge positive comments or people that love me. I write songs about my fans. We're obsessed about each other. So if all you see is when I respond to something not positive. Then it's because you're attracted to bad energy. Again, that's on you. I never really knew I would appreciate the possibility of long frustrating tweets like this, but here we are 😅
