WE'RE ON THE MOON. THE SAME HARDWARE THAT WAS ON MY DESK THIS SUMMER IS ON THE LUNAR SURFACE.

I'm excited to share this detailed update on our Gravitas mission -- from design, to mission timeline, to what's next as we continue to successfully operate our first large, high power satellite on orbit and prepare for more launches in 2027 and beyond.

Our biggest round yet: @K2SpaceCo has raised a $500M Series D at a $6.8B post-money valuation. The round was led by @kleinerperkins and @ICONIQCapital, with participation from @CapitalG, @lightspeedvp, @AltimeterCap, @sparkcapital, Sands Capital, @ARKInvest, @TRowePrice, and other existing investors.
"Scaling” is probably the word I’ve used most often the past few months in conversations with our investors, customers, and employees when talking about what’s next for K2 Space in 2027 and beyond:
--We’re going to continue to scale up mass production, to deliver against the $1B + in contracts we’ve won to-date.
--We’re going to scale up the satellite itself, from the 20kW Mega to the 100kW class Giga. Its no longer just 100kW, but we’ll save that update for another day.
The capital from the Series D will turbocharge this scaling.
Thanks to everyone who has been on this journey with us for the last four years – let's keep building bigger.
Block2️⃣ !!!
Stronger structures, optimized tanks, in-house avionics. Alpha is getting a configuration upgrade for added reliability. We’ll test key subsystems on our upcoming launch and fly the full upgrade on Flight 8. fireflyspace.com/news/firefl…

Our team is prepping Eclipse's LOx transfer line for testing! Built using a similar carbon composite architecture as Alpha's LOx tanks, at full thrust the line carries almost 4000 lbm/s of liquid oxygen to Eclipse's 7 Miranda engines. That's like driving a midsize sedan through the transfer line once every second.
Over the moon with this one.
MLV is now Eclipse, representing two powerful forces – @NorthropGrumman and Firefly – coming together to transform the launch market. With $50 million of added investment, we’re accelerating production and testing at our Rocket Ranch in central Texas! Read more: fireflyspace.com/news/northr…

That feeling you get when you look out the window and realize you’re almost home! T-4 days until we land in the Moon. Blue Ghost will reach her final destination no earlier than 2:34 am CST on March 2. We’ll start the joint livestream with @NASA at 1:20 am CST, approximately 75 minutes before we touch down on the surface.

It’s been really cool supporting this initiative by designing some of the mechanisms that will enable the manufacturing of structures in the vacuum of space.

There’s a few quality engineering schools in really fucked up places. Like where the fuck is college station or west Lafayette.
