this is genuinely insane
Today we're launching Motion in Claude.
One skill turns it into a full video team:
> Drop a product URL: a finished launch video comes back, scripted, voiced, rendered
> Say "make it shorter" or "swap the music": it re-cuts on the spot, no timeline
> Upload your own footage and logo: it builds around them
The video below was made this way, in Claude, in one message.
Comment "MOTION" and I'll send you the skill. 👇
got to see an early viewing of “You Can See Anything” the new movie by Nathan Felder about @ElizabethHolmes
it was a masterpiece 👌🏽
thank you @ycombinator @vivianmshen for organizing, can we do “Artifical” next??
when I worked at @Tesla, I went back and watched all the keynotes for every single release: Roadster, S, X, Y, 3, Semi.
as I watched these back-to-back, I noticed how consistent @elonmusk has always been with his messaging. literally 20 years ago, at the initial Roadster launch, elon was saying the same things about EVs he says today.
he had a vision. even when everyone else told him he was wrong, the entire auto-industry was against him, he believed in his vision and executed it on relentlessly.
in retrospect, it feels trivial.
but to materialize your vision in such a way (in elon's case, not just once or twice, but many times over) is the hardest thing imaginable.
by law of inertia, everything is against you. you must muster it within yourself to manifest your vision into reality. It's what ever founder hopes to do.
yesterday, the Roadster flew.
will it sell? maybe. maybe not. but for me, it was the most exciting product launch since the iPhone. and sometimes, that's all it's about.

this edit was done with a few prompts to our new video agent. we've been materializing our own vision for agentic video editing. coming soon. 👇

The new Roadster is out so we gave Motion one prompt:
"Make a race between the Roadster and a SpaceX rocket"
@elonmusk you might want to see who won
you don't need 10K lines, api keys, and hours of usage to get good from @motion_so
you just need a simple idea and let our harness do the rest
GodHands is a wild name, but these guys are cracked IIT engineers rethinking how learned business operations and practices become useful context for agents embedded in the company
launch video made with @motion_so studios <3
congrats on @ycombinator and the launch team!
Today we’re launching GodHands (YC F26).
Every company runs on people who just know how things work.
The refund that doesn’t fit the policy. Which customer gets a call. Which spreadsheet is actually right.
That knowledge is never written down. When they leave, it leaves with them.
AI agents have the same gap: they know the internet, not how your best people work.
GodHands learns by watching real work across apps, turns it into playbooks with sources, and uses those playbooks to do the work.
No integrations. No interviews.
Keep the know-how. Hand off the work.
See it in action: godhands.ai
the hardest part of running an AI startup is the pace of AI..
roadmaps become days instead of months, every standup is about what new model or tech was released in just the past day.
just keeping up already feels like a full-time job.
but then taking those insights, distilling them into where they create leverage, and incorporating that into product—that's where the real value for users gets created.
that, plus the hundred other things you're juggling as a founder means every day is a full-on sprint.
and the pace only continues to compound and get faster.
as a founder, this means you need to act with extreme urgency and get better at filtering signal from noise.
all gas, no breaks. full steam ahead.
putting @motion_so to work @lennysan, love to see it :')
awesome to see the @motion_so MCP listed #1 on the @manufact MCP leaderboard under Design & Creative tools :')
Not all MCP servers are created equal, so we made a leaderboard.
Check your server, get a quality score out of 100, and see exactly what you need to improve.
Post a screenshot of your score and tag us @manufact for a free month on any standard plan.

We gave Muse and Opus 5.5 the same prompt in Motion:
"Make a launch video for yourself"
Left: Muse AI
Right: Opus 5.5
Here's what each one made 👇
had a ton of fun demo'ing @mosaic_so to a full house at @GoogleStartups event during @Techweek_ !
i got to share a bit about our origin story (peep my Youtube videos from 18 years ago behind me) and also give a sneak peek to everyone of our new upcoming release.
thanks for all those that came out and stuck around to ask questions after!
stay tuned, more on the upcoming release soon ;)

We asked GPT-6 Astra and Opus 5.5 to draw their founders inside Motion.
The prompt: “Draw your founder.”
Each model had to figure out:
→ The style
→ The details
→ How to bring the portrait together
Here’s what they made, side by side.
Who did it better? 👇
Motion Studio filming in session…
can you guess what this @ycombinator company does?
"bro...Claude Motion just launched, is Motion cooked?"
in the last day alone we got Claude Motion, Higgsfield Katana, and a bunch of GitHub repos full of “motion skills” for Claude.
getting a model to write code was already solved. knowing HTML or Javascript can represent video was an insight, but this turned out to be the easy part.
knowing what actually looks good is the hard part. the pacing, the type, when to cut, the easing, the movement, the familiarity.
that’s what we spend our days on at Motion. that's why Motion is the best harness in the world for motion design.
models unlock new capabilities; a good harnesses induces taste from those capabilities.
it bridges the gap between minimal user input and exceedingly good outputs.
so, is Motion cooked? no.
we're just getting started.👇
Flexible pricing for flexible usage, now available on @motion_so
We just rolled out an important pricing update for Motion:
The Max tier is going away. The new Pro tier replaces it and flexes anywhere from 1,000 to 50,000 credits a month, so you're not buying a bundle that doesn't fit.
No more one fixed plan. you choose how many credits you want and the price follows. The rate per credit comes down as you go up.
And if you're already subscribed to a Motion Pro or Max subscription, you keep what you have, for life.
300 credits on us with your first purchase. annual takes 7% off.
Check out the new pricing 👉 motion [dot] so
