I think we should push for differentiation rather than ā€œregulation vs no regulation.ā€ Keep open source open. Frontier models crossing certain capability thresholds get a different bar: evals, sandboxes, disclosure, security, etc.

The same argument has been many made times: 2000s - no-code/low-code ā€œeveryone will build their own tools, no need for software companiesā€ 2010-2020 - internal tool platforms will kill SaaS 2022-2024 - agents will kill SaaS 2025 - vibecoding will kill SaaS The prediction keeps resurfacing. The outcome doesn’t.

Green Flags in a Startup: - multiple ai agents coding like over-caffeinated interns - ā€˜going out’ means pushing to production - all his social interactions are on X, nowhere else - builds killer features, ignores everything cute - no branded t-shirts - no parties, just ā€œshipping nightsā€ - all his friends are ai coding agents

Rest on Saturday, work on Sunday. I don’t support the toxic ā€˜no weekends for founders’ narrative. All it creates is exhaustion, no creative capacity, and tiredness instead of enthusiasm. Not sustainable. You need at least one full day off.

Investing in growth when you have 0 real customers is the fastest way to burn money. Get 5–10 clients who genuinely love your product first, then scale.

The missing piece: how do those 500-follower creators know WHAT to post? We built trndr app exactly for this - finds the most viral content in your niche so you can brief creators with proven formats. Same organic feel, but algorithm-optimized

I had an AI anxiety so I started discussing it with my therapist. Now my therapist has an AI anxiety as well.

Two things you'll never forget as a marketplace founder: 1. Your first booking or transaction 2. Your first booking or transaction that isn't a family member or friend

@__plotnikova is building something really cool. Linkedlivin.com is an apartment sharing community for professionals. Save money on bookings (cheaper than Airbnb and hotels) by using their professional network. You can even book a stay at a college alumni’s place or even someone who works at your company. Cool right? There’s no need to list your own residence but you can, knowing that your home is in trusted hands. The exclusive membership is totally worth it at only $65 a year! I just joined and I’m looking forward to using it.
