Greg Martin

One of the most unusual recruiting situations I’ve encountered in my 25 years in this business. @__gregmartin Greg Martin proved himself night after night—whether facing JUCOs or top prep programs—he consistently showed he could score from deep or off the bounce, never forced shots, never over-dribbled, and brought toughness as a rebounding guard who played solid defense. We marketed him everywhere—to coaches at every level—and kept hearing: “We love his shooting, but we’re waiting…” “We’re focused on the portal right now…” Even JUCOs wanted us to take offers far below what he was truly worth. But here’s the reality: talent + character + relationships = opportunity. Shoutout to his uncle PJ, who’s also our lead skill trainer, for staying in the trenches with us to make this happen. Without his persistence and belief in Greg, this deal might not have come together. To coaches and players reading this: This is the power of real relationships. Because Greg had them, and we had them, he’s now headed to a great situation—a program that sees his value. Mark my words: 👉 Greg Martin is the steal of the summer. We’re excited to watch him shine. 💯 #RecruitingReality #HiddenGem #GregMartin #BasketballJourney #StealOfTheSummer #RelationshipMatters #NextUp
