Today's devotion laid more emphasis on the metaphor of rest. Amongst the three ways @pst_iren outlined on *How shall we come to rest*, this one stood out for me. He said "you have come to a point of rest where you are fully convinced about the capacity and the willingness of God to show up in your life" If God has intervened for you in the past but you cant believe him for the future, it's a big problem. I don't know how we got here. Two people in a relationship can be on the same EXACT salary of £2000 per month and one person will be expecting the other to carry the weight of their own expenses. That's quite interesting (derogatory) in a world of economic chaos.
