As a social worker I am appalled by the decision to not give loans to social work students. Our field is necessary & valuable. & we already mostly understaffed. You can make great money as a social worker but even more so, we change lives. That is invaluable.

Take the blame and disappear. Become the villain and exit the story. There's no point writing paragraphs explaining how someone's actions made you feel. There's no point trying to make someone understand they wronged you when they lack the basic capacity for accountability.
