What a ride! Playing Keyshawn has truly been one of the most transformative, creatively challenging and beautiful experiences of my life and career. I’ve been part of this world since it was an untitled pilot presentation back in 2018, when we had put together a 13 minute sizzle reel for STARZ. I remember a flood of emotions when I read the pilot for the first time and immediately felt this deep connection to this girl, who so badly wanted to be loved. Whose troubles, heartache & abuse were suspended for a few minutes under the purple lights. I have a very clear memory of us on the rooftop of a hotel one night in Atlanta, dreaming about what this show would become if it got picked up, and feeling this buzzing energy of excitement that, after years of auditions and getting SO close, someone finally gave us a shot. And now we get ready, one last time, for opening night at The Pynk. I’m so excited you all get to finally see what we’ve been working on since we’ve been away. 2 episode premiere December 4th on STARZ #PVALLEY
