I’m so excited about life. I love everything I have going on. I’m making myself proud and that’s the only person I’m trying to impress (and side note that’s one very hard lady to impress)

It’s a new month! Tune out the noise, tune into your soul, remember your “why” and diligently work towards your goals. You can change yourself and your life one day at a time. Just remember why you’re doing this in the first place and keep going.

It has to work out… because i want spontaneous trips, slow mornings, a beautiful home, time for my hobbies, and a life that doesn't revolve around weekends.

The quiet seasons of growth are usually the ones that actually stick. You learn to measure progress by how your life feels, not by how people react to it. Just the work and the private satisfaction of seeing yourself change. Privacy really does protect the process.
One thing I'm learning is that privacy brings a certain kind of peace. You can work on yourself, make plans, change your life and enjoy your progress without inviting everybody to have an opinion on it.

there is something deeply unsettling about a society that keeps telling people to be more resilient while making the conditions of ordinary life progressively harder to withstand.

And exactly what American police do to Black children. Let’s not forget that they murdered 1 year old Kohen Wiley in Mississippi a few months ago. They all use the same tactics, and they target entire families with zero hesitation.
Hey so ICE shooting a car with a 5 year old child in it is exactly what the IDF does to Palestinian families

It just pisses me off so badly that the world COULD be a better place, but a handful of people actively choose not to let it.
