Can't be more truer.
Let me share my plans for this last phase of the year. Might be of help to someone here.
1. Painstakingly go through the ACJA/District Court Rules.
2. Aside the matters I'm handling, ensure I regularly witness Magistrate/District Court proceedings in order to learn from senior colleagues.
The wisdom is one: Focus is sequential: give undivided attention to one thing first, then move to the next. Trying to focus on both at once usually means focusing on neither.
May we attain greater heights in this profession.
Until hypergamy is no longer a thing, stay quiet woman.
When I finally marry my 4 wives, I'll incorporate the habit of taking 4 shots.
One wife, one shot.
Management must be equal and justice must be seen as done.
MSG, what a man!
With the benefit of hindsight, we can look back and realise we should have done things differently.
But that is not how life works.
Congratulations, brother @IdowuSegun21852.
May your home be blessed.
Perhaps I'm crazy but I have to say this today.
I don’t like to play by the rules. Not because I don’t understand them. I understand them perfectly. I just don’t see why they should be the only way. Rules say: do it like this. I ask: Why? What happens if we do it like that?
Some people hear rules and feel safe. I hear rules and feel caged. I need to test the wall. Push it. Break it. See if there’s something better on the other side.
I’m not reckless. I’m curious. I’m not disobedient. I’m just not obedient by default. Respect has to be earned, even by rules.
In my understanding, playing by the rules keeps you in line. Not playing by them keeps you alive. It’s how new paths are made.
Yes, it costs. People will call you stubborn. Difficult. Too much. But I have come to understand that these are just words people use flippantly. I don’t want to be in a box! I want to be free to build my own way, even if I fall. Especially if I fall. Because at least the fall will be mine.
My style might not always be right, but this is my truth, and I can only live by it. Anything different will make me unhappy.
This is my truth!
Yours sincerely, MSG.
