The angel on my shoulder is telling me @LDoerkson is a kind man in politics for the right reasons, so this isn’t surprising, The devil on my left shoulder is telling me that thanks to Eby, the bar is pretty low.
Poll shows B.C. Conservative leader Lorne Doerkson considered best choice for premier theprovince.com/news/angus-r…

In the last four days, both main parties have promised a new Urgent and Primary Care Centre for Greater Victoria. I welcome that. We need the capacity. But let's be honest about what a new clinic fixes and what it doesn't. A clinic is a building. The shortage is people, and the people we have are buried in forms. The latest national survey of 1,924 doctors, by the Canadian Medical Association and the CFIB, found the average physician spends 9.1 hours a week on paperwork. Doctors say 46% of that work doesn't need a doctor at all. In BC, 90% call it a major cause of burnout. That's almost a full working day every week not spent with patients. Nationally, the unnecessary part adds up to the equivalent of about 9,000 full-time doctors, or 199 hours per doctor every year. A ribbon cutting won't fix that. Going through the forms one by one, such as insurance paperwork, referrals and test requisitions, and removing what adds nothing will. My commitment is simple and measurable: cut BC doctors' paperwork by 10% within two years, measured by what BC doctors report in that same national survey. If the number doesn't move, you'll know, and you can hold me to it. Advance voting ends Wednesday at 8 pm. Election Day is Saturday, October 24.

“My experience of him is I don’t know that he likes people. I really get the sense that he’s not a people person. He might be an idea person or a person who likes power, but I don’t know that he likes people.” British Columbians are ready for change #bcpoli
David Eby’s former finance minister SLAMS him in a new interview. Selina Robinson says @Dave_Eby is “not an easy premier to work with” and “likes to control things.” Also sharing kind words for BC Conservative Leader @LDoerkson. Read the full story ⬇️ trendingpolitics.ca/article/…

The previous wave of polls was pre debate but also pre daycare scandal So it's hard to pinpoint the reason for the NDP tanking at the end. But it's getting ugly
Another poll should be out in the morning giving the BC Cons a 6-pt lead over the NDP. Things not looking great for Eby and the NDP

This is NOT an endorsement from the Gastown Residents Association (GRA). Brian Davie is a former president and is no longer affiliated with our organization. We were asked to endorse Terry Yung and respectfully declined because we wanted to remain non-partisan. Hours later, this photo was posted. While the GRA isn’t mentioned by name, our logo is prominently displayed on his shirt, creating the impression of an endorsement we explicitly declined to give. This feels deliberately misleading
The most important endorsements are from local residents. Thank you Brian Davie.

My MLA @DrAnnaKindy has fought tirelessly to reopen our Port Hardy emerg and leads with it again here 👇🏽 That matters. While @bcndp @VanIslandHealth have shrugged their shoulders & resisted frontline workers’ suggestions, Dr. Kindy has a plan and the commitment to get it open
When David Eby's NDP cannot run on their record, they run on fear. On October 24, vote for Strong Leadership for Serious Times. Vote for the Conservative Party of BC.

We agree! This election is about so much more than election timing. This election is about David Eby's record of chaos. On October 24th, Vote Conservative.

I never would have imagined that an NDP Premier would be so desperate in the dying days of an election campaign to attack access to justice, health care, and legal representation for Canadians experiencing disabilities
My dad was a lawyer, and he used to tell me: no matter what happens, lawyers always win. And if the Conservatives bring personal injury lawyers back into our car insurance system, that’s exactly what will happen. The Conservatives want the lawyers to win big and they want you to pay for it.

One issue we dug into on our Global BC municipal election night panel was how much Bill 44 drove the anti-incumbency vote. Plenty of factors shaped each community, but I expect significant pushback on Bill 44 no matter who wins provincially on Saturday. #bcpoli #vanpoli

Enhanced care, an Orwellian term for ICBC's no-fault legislation that denies accident victims in BC full and fair compensation for their injuries and losses and leaves those victims at the mercy of ICBC. Good for bad drivers, bad for victims.

Recently had the opportunity to explain to the Supreme Court of the United States the madness of reframing a mental disorder as healthy and how that created the devastatingly harmful concept of the “transgender child.”
