Throwback to the time the BBC asked Rage Against The Machine not to swear during a live broadcast.

When watching darts on TV the sound as the dart hits the board is made with a contact mic mounted behind the board which triggers a sample of a kick drum. You may not have had your head that close to a dart board before, but a small point going into felt doesn’t go “thud” 🎯🎤🥁

Really enjoyed watching Fever Pitch “The Rise of the Premier League”tonight on the BBC. Unbelievable memories flooding back. A great era. Manchester United were a brilliant team but the great Jack Walker built a better one in 94/95 with @Rovers ❤️

“I have one regret - that I didn’t kick him even more.” BBC #feverpitch episode 2 worth watching for Cantona’s kung-fu recollections alone. Also Les Ferdinand and Le Saux make powerful observations on fans’ abuse of players. Insightful series.

You don’t get to stoke the fire at the beginning of the tournament by labelling our anti-racism message as ‘Gesture Politics’ & then pretend to be disgusted when the very thing we’re campaigning against, happens.
I am disgusted that @England players who have given so much for our country this summer have been subject to vile racist abuse on social media.
It has no place in our country and I back the police to hold those responsible accountable.

Worth it if only for the first five-and-a-half minutes of the mentioned documentary (youtube link in the piece): witty commentary on the sexual subtext of a Bugs Bunny clip. Really appreciate Thaemlitz. thequietus.com/articles/3015…
