Some Black women are deeply insecure and unhealed, and you can see it in the way they project their unresolved issues onto Black men. I’m talking specifically about women who take every failed relationship, poor choice or negative experience with an individual man and turn it into an indictment of Black men as a whole. They’ll dissect everything a Black man supposedly needs to fix, but become defensive the moment their own choices, patterns or behaviour are questioned. They’ll blame men for the partners they repeatedly choose and generalize personal experiences into statements about an entire group. Accountability can’t be one-sided. If you expect Black men to own their behaviour, you have to own yours too.
