The Soul has a watery element - from which Death drinks, and a fiery element - from which Life radiates. They intermingle in a great, senseless beast called "the Body" and they animate it effortlessly. From this primeval mating, Desire is born.

Decided to do a small pixel mockup following the aesthetic of @__SolS who is developing the game Omen of Duality, which takes after Hydlide, Ys, and Zelda. I clustered my shapes a bit more for less noise. Might expand this piece with more tiles and stuff.

I'm constantly second guessing the contrast, brightness and saturation of each new bit of art I make or post. The laptop screen I use has that inconsistent brightness/saturation thing depending on what angle you look from which drives me crazy..
