Nigeria In Focus: At The Roundtable in Paris, France
Today, I participated in a roundtable discussion at the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) office in Paris, France.
The dialogue brought together policymakers, diplomats, development experts, representatives of international organisations, and members of the international media to discuss Nigeria’s future and its role in an increasingly interconnected world.
Our discussions focused on development cooperation and the need to strengthen bilateral partnerships that can accelerate economic growth, improve the lives of our people, create productive opportunities, and support sustainable national development.
I reiterated my firm belief that Nigeria possesses the human and natural resources required to become a united, secure, prosperous, and globally competitive nation. What we need is competent, accountable, and compassionate leadership that prioritises investment in people, education, healthcare, productive enterprise, the rule of law, and strong institutions over a politics of consumption.
Nigeria’s future is bright, but realising its promise requires deliberate choices. We must move from consumption to production, from poverty to prosperity, and from wasted potential to shared progress.
Through good governance, fiscal responsibility, and mutually beneficial international partnerships, we can build an economy that works for all Nigerians and restore our nation’s rightful standing in the comity of nations.

Please Everyone, I need your help.
From the accident, she has fractures in her hand, leg, and pelvic region. The doctor said the surgery will cost about ₦5 million. It is extensive and will be done in two phases.
First they will operate on her hand and leg. When she recovers from that, they will do the pelvic region.
It has been a painful experience. We have already spent so much on drugs and medications just to keep her stable this far. The pain is still there every day.
A lot of you have followed this from the day of the accident. You have seen the updates. You know what this has been like.
Please, if your heart can move you, even ₦1k, ₦2k, ₦5k, ₦10k, or ₦20k from you will help us. Every little bit carries weight right now.

I'm grateful to and for the Man that kept her conscious rendering first aid till the Ambulance got there.
He even stayed and helped till midnight (few minutes ago).
I'm so grateful 🙏
After my engagements in Manchester, I honoured another impromptu engagement in Birmingham, UK, with a group of Nigerians having their annual general meeting.
Our discussions centered on achieving our collective purpose of building a New Nigeria that works for all, which is centered on tackling corruption and electing competent leaders with capacity, character, compassion and commitment, to unite, secure, and move the nation from consumption to production.

Yes they do 😊
They are foundation builders for all society.
My pastor has spoken about my dressing to church before. I wore a sleeveless top I thought was decent. I should have known better as a worker, and my Pastor cautioned me. No hate. No embarrassment.
We emphasise on decent dressing at CCI and it's not going to change for anybody.
The first time I earned money that was not from my Dad, I was so proud of myself.
I had my first job at almost 17. A teacher's assistant for Maths, English and Science for Middle school kids.
I would love to say it was fun. It was not. Teachers deserve everything good in life.

In Today's service, Pst. Chinedu Ndubueze @chinedundubuez_ preached a powerful sermon on the topic, 'For Such a Time,' showing us from Scripture the believer's place regarding societal matters.

There's something psychologists call the bystander effect: as long as an event doesn't affect you directly, you might not care as much about whom it's affecting. However, the perspective of the Ecclesia is that part of you that ought to respond and act as though it affects you personally.
