After 5.5 years, today is my last day at @HypixelNetwork. This wasn't an easy choice for me to make but I've decided to move on to new adventures! I want to thank everyone on the Hypixel team and the community for making my time here special, it was a really great journey!

Hello, today we're opening alpha with the nether island OPEN! There's a pretty good chance we have to close the server quickly due to performance issues but we're going to try to keep it open as long as possible just expect frequent closures. Happy testing!

Hello! We'll be opening alpha soon for phase 1 of the nether update. Reminder that this means the server will be open but the new nether island will be CLOSED. The island will remain closed until we are confident that the main game is stable.

A new mechanic you will see in the nether revamp is items that ability costs aren't mana but are other resources. For example, instead of mana an item could cost 10% of your total health to cast its ability. The wand of strength is an example of this (numbers may not be final).

Had a meeting yesterday where I got some feedback on some SkyBlock stuff I was working on. A designer asked for a change and I was like "Oh yea that's a quick 5 min fix". Me 2 hours later: "That was not a quick fix".
