Last week the Nepalese Government banned all social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. This came after a viral trend exposing Nepo babies on social media, showed how Government officialās embezzled money to sponsor their kids abroad while making life difficult for the masses.
The social media ban triggered a revolution.
Parliament was burned,
The houses of:
Finance minister
Prime minister
Home minister
Communication minister, were also burned,
Right now the Prime Minister was forced to resign and the Government has since lifted the social media ban.
