Twitch will soon add a new moderation feature called "Chat Noise Reduction." The optional feature will let you restrict languages and set limits on message length, capital letters, ASCII art, repetitive posts, and more.

September 2026 (Year-over-Year) Twitch Stats Last month was good for viewership, despite a big drop in active streamers. Less competition for views! Alas, those viewers aren't spending as estimated SUBtember self-paid subs were down. Check out @streamlabs latest updates and sponsorships! #ad

Any film fans still hanging around on here, I am *begging* you not to get all your news from pop culture accounts. The amount of stuff I see that is inaccurate, over-simplified, taken out of context, and poorly sourced... These accounts care more about your click than being right

Promoters have pulled Macklemore from Ed Sheeran’s tour after he called for a “Free Palestine” on stage: “We have been notified by venues on the upcoming U.S. tour dates that they will not allow a concert to take place with Macklemore on the lineup” (rollingstone.com/music/music…)

A Twitch browser extension used by nearly 31,000 people has been caught sending users' login tokens to servers controlled by its developer. The extension, “Twitch Enhanced Viewer,” was available on Chrome and Firefox and promised ad-free viewing and 1080p streams in regions where they might normally be restricted. It sent users’ Twitch tokens to its own servers whenever they watched a stream. These tokens can work almost like a login, so someone who obtains them could access parts of a Twitch account, including private messages, chat and settings without the password. The tokens were also sent as part of a web address and could have been saved in server logs. The developer has released Firefox version 85.8.7 to fix the issue but the Chrome update is still being reviewed. Nearly 31,000 users could have been affected.
