Amazed at the progress as we hit week 20 of the @FA Sheffield Women's High Performance Goalkeeping Centre. Female GKs, ages 8 to 16, across Yorkshire showcasing real development across all 4 corners, creating a unique GK union is truly impressive 👏🔥⚽

The trophies and medals will be boxed away and forgotten about. But, the life lessons of integrity, leadership, determination, respect, teamwork, hard work, grace, humility and empathy will be part of them forever. The part of the game will NEVER be forgotten. 👏👏

🎥 As #lufc celebrates 100 years, we’ve also been looking at how the club has helped make West Yorkshire one of the leading areas for women’s football. @WestRidingFA says a record number of girls & women are now playing for grassroots clubs here:

I hope this doesn’t put you off, unacceptable behaviour and a really bad example to the kids they are coaching! Stay strong Annabel 💖

As the season begins this weekend, when the kids walk out onto the pitch and play their game. . Always remember without the 1000’s of volunteers that choose to give up their time during the week, at a weekend and pretty much every night, then grassroots simply wouldn't exist.
